I have a red top sr20det running an s15 t28 with a HKS wastegate actuator and an AEM stand alone computer. The problem iam having is that the ROCKERS keep braking when it hits redline...this time around it happen hiting redline from 1st gear to 2nd gear in piston #1. Plus the shims fell off..so my questions would be could the shims go down the timing chain into the oil pain and does any body know if theres a fix to this??I thought of replacing the Rockers with stronger aftermarket ones but iam told they dont make any. Also keep hearing that AEM systems tend to make this happen alot...not to sr20det savvy so any HELP on the subject would really HELP THANKS!!!

I'm guessing you have an ignition cut limiter?

They're very hard on the valvetrain.

Id you have ras's the only thing I can think of is the valve springs you have are binding causing the spring to basically bottom out and the cam lobe to have to break through the rocker. I have solid lifters with huge cams and springs and a 2 step launch and don't have any issues but I shimmed my head on the loose side keeping the 2 step in mind.

My head is completly built with Nismo Rocker Arm Stoppers, Brain Crower Springs & Retainers....so i dont know why it keeps happening...iam leaning more towards the aem tune cause it has happened both times while hitting redline

While your in there check for spring binding. When you got your bc springs it should of had a spec sheet to tell you the minimum amount of clearance between spring coils. Most likely it's like .050 in. cryo treating is overkill bro. Build the motor correctly and you won't have that problem ever again.
