My '95 is generally in pretty decent shape. But, I have one pretty big issue with the driver side rocker panel. Some paint is bubbled up and there is a couple inch hole that is rusted completely through. I really want to fix this before it progresses any further. The rust is localized on the part behind the seam under the driver side door. (The part that is attached to the rear quarter) My question is: Are there replacement/ repair panels for just that section of the car? My searches so far have come up empty. Maybe I'm using the wrong terminology?, or perhaps I'm just 'challenged' when it comes to my searching skills. I've searched this forum and tryed googling, but I'm striking out... Any help would be much appreciated. Pic-age to follow:

And if anyone is interested, some quick pics of my dirty car. These are pretty much as purchased pics; as about all I have done so far is fix the exhaust and clean my yellow headlights. I used medium reducer; works well and smells great. I think so anyway. Plus it's not known to cause cancer in my state.

dang, thats pretty nasty. what you would do to fix that is to section out the rusted area. cut out the rusted area and make another piece out of good metal and weld it in. if you take it to a shop theyll know what to do with it.

Our sponsor, Nissan Wholesale Parts carries an inner and outer rocker panel. The outer is 378. Looks like the section right under ther door. I need the back part though.

the outer back part youre looking for is part of the rear quarter panel. there is no need to be looking for those expensive panels when you can section out the rusted area. all you should be looking for is a few square feet of some sheet metal thats the same thickness as whatever youre sectioning. hate to see people buy stuff that they dont need...

j-z,Thanks for the reply. I guess I can try doing it that way. I've welded some metal in on my Camaro once, but that was only about a 2" by 2" spot on a relatively flat surface. I figure it will be a little more difficult to accurately reproduce the curve in the rocker, plus add the little lip on the bottom. I was hoping for an easier, pre-stamped piece, but I guess there will be no easy answer. Maybe I can find one in a junk yard around here. Needle in a haystack probably. Anyways, sharp looking car. I don't think I can tint my front windows here (legally). You have a 240 and you miss the Prelude? Am I missing something?? Good looking cars, but FWD!?! Freakin' Honda. I also drive a CRX though, so I shouldn't say too much.

thanks for the compliment man. reason why i still miss the lude is because it was putting down around 250 whp. the 240 is like 145 whp, so i do miss the get up and go the lude had. BUT nothing can compare to how the 240 drives. im a body technician and have dealt with problems you have a countless number of times. its not hard at all to shape the metal to the contour you need. just keep shaping and put it up to the repair area until youve reached your desired contour. yes it will take time, as does most everything. the more time you spend the better the outcome. after welding and grinding, put a nice layer of filler over the area and make it look like the other side. i know i know, alot easier said than done huh. either way, youre gonna have to put about the same amount of time into the repair if you were to buy a pre-fit piece. good luck though! and oh, incase you were talking about my windows, my front window isnt tinted. i have 5% all around and a strip on the front.
