rocker arm stoppers install questions (s14)

I ran a search and only found one thread on the s14 ras install. I looked over the install steps that were in the link on that thread. I was wondering.....is there anyway to install them without cutting under the valve cover? Are they really worth the time it takes to install them on a notchtop? I have a pair here (greddy). Ive heard that they would save me a lot of trouble in the long run, but I didnt realize that there was so much difference in the s13 and s14 install. Is there anything I can do to simplify the install? the motor is in the car. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
