Rock to the Hood

Ok so i was driving on the freeway and a rock hits my hood. Now there is a white circle in result of it! what is the best way to get rid of it or cover it up? I have a black 3.5 sedan.

what i would do is take the clear nail poilish and put in on the area this will protect the metal and should stop rust from forming, then go to the stealership and pay an Outrageous price for touch up paint, let it dry over night (if it won't rain), and then wax the area or the whole car. but make shure the car is VERY cleen. ( I think i have ocd because if i just wax the small area then i go crazy and have to wax the whole car). the wax should give it some protection i use turtle wax and because your car is new i recomend you use the spray. and then you try not to look at that spot because that is the first thing you are going to think about when you see your car is that spot LOL! ( this is what i would do, idk there may be a better way)

I heard the hood is aluminum.. so you dont need to worry about rust.. if thats true...

tons o little chips on my black baby, it happens, but it should not rust..I would order a Nissan paint pen one end is OEM super black the other clear coat, after a good clean,a little dab of paint side, wait to dry a little dab of clear coat side..and then wax, good to go!

I think he means its mounted inside of the little compartment by the shifter under the radio

You can stick a huge NISMO sticker to hide the mark
