I was wondering what you guys thought of the Roberuta Cup Kit. I am seriously considering these to keep my Z streetable even after being lowered. (NJ road are terrible) They sound like a really good idea but I can't find any information on the setup when you are using them. Particularly to they have to be down when driving or can they be half way up or fully raised when diving and lower the car when not driving. Also I heard there were cheaper versions made stateside but haven't found anything similar. Hope you guys can help. Sorry if there was already a post like this, I'm new to the forum and the search didn't yield anything like this.

HCRiceBoy21, for those questions you are best to email them directly. Can't beat information straight from the horses mouth.

It's wierd... I posted a link to a 350z forum where they were discussing these, but it's not showing...

Anyways, the thread boiled down to this:

-OP was interested in airride for his Z33.-Forum member proposed Roberuta Cup Kit .-Everybody liked the idea.-Then they shat bricks when they saw the ~$5000 price tag.

The end.

Yes it's not cheap, but neither is paying for and painting a new front bumper.

Or just don't slam the s*** out of your car, since like you said, is a street car.

And if you're not gonna slam... F*** paying $5000 for this chit! Just get some lowering springs for a mild drop. Done.

im feeling helpful

Cup kits are cool if you are at a mediocre height and need more.Bags on coilovers give you a full 4 inches or more depending on how you set it up. cups are like 1 or 2 inches

plus the variable spring rate of hte bags are awesome
