So I return to my car to see two guys in it. It looked as if they just got in the car cause I saw the doors fly open, I yelled out since I was a ways away from the car. The all in the car by the time I got there I thought hadnt got anything when I looked in...Head unit intact....tool bag gone....Ipod touch gone....along with destroying the cord. I tried chasing tehm down with no luck....f***ING SPEED BUMPS...never saw them again...Im regretting the situation cause I honestly feel as if I couldve at least hit or grabbed one person before they left. I really and truly had enough time to atleast snatch someone outta the car.

I'm sorry for your misfortune. You should never leave personal items of value laying out in sight of would be thieves. They never learned that Christmas is only one day a year. I have a GPS in my car and I don't even leave it up on the dash when I go inside a gas station. Always keep a clean car with nothing in plain sight. I'm not saying that your stuff was in plain sight, but they were probably attracted by something besides it being a 240sx.

Yeah ninja mode you would have snuck up on them. While we're wallowing the shouldacouldawoulda's, I'd also suggest carrying your ipod with you when you park your vehicle like myself. In the back pocket that the wallet is not in is best. I mean my 30gig was 300 dollars... You wouldn't leave that much cash lying around would ya?

Still I'm sorry to hear s*** like this. Happens all too often because people don't have respect for each other.

Yea you fellas are right. I just figured I was only gonna be there for a min. and it'll be cool. Jeez the one time I dont bring my Ipod with me and I dont have my 24" breaker bar in the car... Im still on the lookout though...If I even see anyone that resembles them or looks they might have my ipod Im going against their heads.

When you're me, you assume the worst. I scared him away lol, he was a poseur eclipse noob anyway.

similar thing happened to me, the part where I shoulda knocked some heads together. I ran outside from work after seeing my mountain bike was missing. Went to the side lot and saw three scumbags trying to put it into the back of their champagne colored Mercury Sable looking car. but blinded by rage I was grabbed my bike through shouting at them and freaking out. I should've said f*** the bike and started ripping people faces off.

I got one of these extendable rachet, and i saw this slick looking thing at a truck stop. its like a trucker's tire, club thing, like a miniature wooden bat. like this

Unfortunately in this town of Tuskegee, Al where I edumacates myself the cops aren't much help. A friend of mine has his bike stolen over the summer and still nothing, so I believe nothing will happen with the iPod search at all. No weapons here my friend accept for several tools inside my car. P.S.-They dropped my tool bag off where they stole it once they realized it was just tools. I think they will hit the same spot again. In fact I am sure of it

No reason to get shot. Too many people carry guns round me to go being all Bruce Lee. I hear being stabbed blows alot too.

That's right!

OP, I am very sorry this happened to you bro! it happened to me not even 3 weeks ago with my daily.

Keep your head high man and just don't steep to their level.

Light up the dark bro, don't join it.

One Love,

Ghasty

My radio was stolen about 2 months ago. I was pissed. But my uncle gave it to me so I wasn't out alot of money, and no windows were broken so that was good I suppose.

But then like 3-4 weeks later my cd case got stolen. Or I lost it I donno, but Im RFP about that.

So now I have a really nice premier HU, and it gets taken out of my car every night. Even though I live with my dad now (better neibhorhood #1 reason why I moved) and I really dont have to worry about that now.

Getting stabbed does suck, trust me, but I mean I don't know how to not fight for whats mine regardless. If they pull out you back down. If not free game. It was 3 of them and we had 2 plus reinforcements. Its my fault for not grabbing someone and its still eating at me. Plus the genius didn't unplug the ipod but rather yanked the cord and broke it so now I have to buy a new one from Alpine, like $50.

I plan on filing a claim through my campus security and housing ins. to see if I can get something for my issues. But, I'm still looking and put alot of my friends on the lookout if they see or here something.

And Im sorry about your radio and CD deck that blows, I hate people that steal from others.

Sorry to hear about your stuff. I had my house broken into about a year ago and they walked away with alot (power tools, electronics easy pawn stuff) I'm new and I'm sure this has been brought to peeps attenion but be cautious on where you take pics of your car esp if you have city etc listed. Remember this is a public site and anyone can view it without being a member and the true no-no is posted pics with your tag number. No tryin to start anything just wanting everyone to keep that in mind so no one takes our stuff that we work hard for!
