lol!!! you must be reading my mind.

I called the guy to get instructions last week on how to do it...but he never called me back with the web address on where he posted instructions on how to do it. I will call him again and maybe do them sometime later this week or next weekend as I want to get it done.

I think so....can't see why not. It looks just like some window tint stuff.

no...no spray on stuff here. It is actual some type of vinyl film that looks and feels like window tint would be like. You somehow need to wet it and then apply it with a blow dryer.

I wonder how this stuff differs from what you could get at walmart in rolls..

Could you post a picture of the kit, as it is now (un-installed)

If it is just window tint for your tail-lights, just go to walmart and buy a roll of it for ~$15.

It's smoked translucent vinyl. Window tint doesn't stretch.

Rob,

Ryan left early last week to go to the NOPI show at the AtlMtrSpdwy.

I got a little frustrated with him too on this stuff, guess he's busy with work.

You guys were talking about window tint, dunno about the Wally Mart stuff, give it a try.

The stuff Ryan has comes in real small rolls, is stretchable like vinyl, is made for outdoor environment. He's a sign guy, not small graphics but the big outdoor stuff.

When im parting out my Q (assuming thats what happens), ill take out my rear lights and see if I can do it..

However, the wally world stuff is about $10.. It might be wroth the extra $10 to have everything precut and ready to go.....

You can tell him his parents weren't married when he was born, I don't care.

I guess I'm just a little weary of the "cheaper is better" battlecries I've been seeing here as of late. For me, it's a throwback to the F150 forums.

A distinction must be made here with respect to price, quality, or service.

I'm not talking about the tint, fwiw.

Pick any two & sacrifice the remaining choice.

You want quality & service? Sacrifice (Pay the price.)You want price & quality? Sacrifice service. You want service & price? Sacrifice quality.
