roaring sound and cracked rotor?

my car started making a roar type noise in the rear (sounds like passenger side rear) so i jacked her up and spun the wheel but got nothing, i did find a small crack on the rotor though, could this be it? Maybe the rotor is warped? My tires are pretty worn aswell (mainly that side the sound is comming from) could that be it?

so you think its the worn down tire? Its bad worn too like dang near slik, i would have bought some new ones already but the brand i need (same as front tres) dont make the 235/50/r17's i wanted so im just sticking to 225. When i get from work ill throw on the spare and see if the sounds persists.

As tires wear out they become louder. If it is as described, I wouldn't be driving on it.

ok i found the problem it wasnt the tires, it was the axle nut that came loose and had some rubbing going on with the brake asembly. Its all good now and it was actually the driver side.
