Hi Guys,

Very pleased with my Roadster arrived as promised last week looks better in the flesh than it does in the pics, only problem is a load of filler on the front wing around light to half way along the wing flair - not a major have a guy 5mins up the road who is a body expert and plenty of kit so should,nt be a problem.

The engine sounds great lovely and smooth bit rough on start up but after a few mins sounds just need a good service, in a few weeks I will need to order up a few things - brake stuff, suspension bushes etc and service items I think the two main suppliers are 'DatsunParts.COM' and 'Rallye Enterprises' - am I right any recommendations for them or any other would be appreciated.

Cheers for now

Al

Hi Ali,

Glad to hear it is running and in good shape. I've bought from both datsunparts & rallye. They are both honest and trust worthy. If you need to redo the brake calipers with a rebuild kit, you can just get the jag xke sets. They are identical (sumitomo licensed the dunlop caliper design which was on the 60's jags).

This Saturday, my plan is to put the motor in the '66 back together and fire it up (fingers crossed). Replacing the head, water pump, thermostat and some other junk.

Glad to pass along any tricks or tips that I know.

Andy

Welcome aboard, Ali!

Andy is a great resource for information. If you need assistance sourcing additional bits, please reach out to either of us. My 67.5 Roadster has been gone through a few times, so I'm pretty familiar with most of it (and what I don't know, I learn from other Datsun friends!)
