Doh!!! I thought what he meant by "hard top" that it would actually be an optional metal roof like the Miata or S2000. I've sat in a 6 speed Silver Roadster at the dealership's show room while my dad was sealing the deal for my mom's Murano. It was pretty nice, but would look sick with a set of gunmetal rims w/ a chrome lip. Im not sure about head clearance cuz the top was down. Im not to thrilled about the looks of it with the roof up, but top down and it aint too bad.

I know this is an old response to an old reply to an old thread but here goes....

The hard top (as in hard top) was scratched. All Nissan memos and ledgers that came to the dealer stated 'Roadster Hard Top convertible'. Imagine our surprise when it came in as a soft top (as in soft top). Our dismay was just like yours....12 months ago, but that's okay.

Oh OK. That musta sucked big time. You guys probably were so anxious to see an actual hard top Z and when the truck came it was the total opposite. I wish I could've seen your faces lol.
