ROADBLOCK..ROADBLOCK..!! Plz Help...

I changed my timing chain, tensioner, and guide. After reinstall all those parts car runs like crap. RPM Idle around 700rpm with very weird exhaust sound like grass cutter. And when I press gas pedal, the RPM rises very slowly upto 1500, then it shots up like it did before. I'm face to roadblock. Towing company ask me 150 bucks to tow to the shop. I really appreciate your advice.

You need to check your mechanical timing. make sure the cam is at top dead center exactly when the crank is at top dead center. Either your chain timing is off or your dist. mechanical timing is off like a tooth or 2. recheck all this. now hopefully your valves did not get taged from this. I wonder though because of your lawn mower exhaust sound. Hope not but check it good. If your timing is on you may have bent a valve especially if you turned the crank or cam with the chain off.
