Heading out early in the morning in my 99 Q45t on a road trip. Fresh service, new battery, new radiator, and ready to feel the road slipping into the rearview mirror! Heading to Alabama for some Banana Puddin.

Nice!!!! Just put about 2500 miles on my G50. It was great fun. Just make sure your battery and radiator power you AC. Im sure they will. And try not to blow the doors off of some unsuspecting mustang owner showing off to his girlfriend at your expense.

If you're going to be anywhere around Tuscaloosa, I hear Dreamland is one of the best rib joints in the country! They might even have some of that "nanner puddin" you're looking for too.

I'll be in Montgomery where there is a Dreamland BBQ. I've had their ribs before AND their Nanner Puddin! The Q ran so nice on the way up, what a great road car! An absolute pleasure to drive, not to mention the nap I had in the back seat...

Board member Jeff Williams is in Montgomery. But he has been seduced by Corvettes.

Enjoyed a slab of those ribs tonight at Dreamland BBQ, and a bowl of banana puddin! The Q has been fabulous on the road trip, what a pleasure to drive!

I sometimes forget what a great road car the Q is since I bought a XTerra, since it is under warranty, burns regular and I don't care as much when bugs smash into it. I took the Q on a 250 miler not long ago and got great gas mileage, was some comfy and enjoyed the seats so much more than the XTerras.

Just recently returned from San Francisco and the Q performed beautifully. The 101 freeway is so much more pleasant than I-5 even though the route is 38 miles longer. Stopped in Santa Barbara and cruised State St, stopped in Gilroy and did some outlet shopping while inhaling that distinct garlic smell, and of course ate some awesome chinese, thai, and italian food while in San Francisco. The entire trip added 1007 miles to the Q and it seemed like my car was laughing at me while asking, "Is that all you got? That was too easy!" What a great road car. It really does minimize long distance fatigue.

You trucked right through my home base. You know 101 is a super-fun highway, I did 145 in my Dad's old 92' Q45 on my way down to Ventura once. I hate I5 but it gets the job done.

Glroy usually costs me $500-$700 bucks with all those good factory stores...........

The Q did a great job on a 1500 mile trip, comfortable, strong and steady. I'd love to jump in again tomorrow and drive another long trip, especially if it included sampling the fantastic food in this country!

The big problem I had is I had business during the trip and my wife and daughter drove home without me. I ended up in a sub compact rental car instead of my Q45t.

It really is a perk to drive a G50 in good shape. It would be something to drive it from Los Angeles to New York and back. We live in a beautiful country and it would be fantastic to see it from the cockpit of a G50.

I've done a lot of driving in a lot of great cars. I enjoy my Q, I loved driving my Mini Cooper S through the mountains, and I have to say it was hard to beat driving my lifted 4x4 SUV down trails. I just kinda like to drive!
