Just a heads up. Road& Track is having a readers poll on the Best car of 2004. They have 5 choices, which includes a Nissan.

Here are the nominees

Subie Sti Porsche GT3 (only $100K) Zoom Zoom RX-8 Bimmer 5 series (the new ugly one)350Z roadster

You can vote at roadandtrack.com. You don't have to be a subscriber to vote, and you can opt out of receiving their junk mail. They also let you write a few comments. I hope our NICO brethren will help push the 350Z roadster over the top. I just voted. Would be kinda cool to see the Nissan win.You can vote until 1200 1/21.

I would vote for the Roadster, except for the fact that I've driven it...

A couple improvements and it'll be great. But then again, given the competition, it might be the best all-around of the bunch...

I don't like any of them.

Ryan is still bent that they didn't include the '89 240 with the SR swap. :)

You're right, that 5-series is the ugliest car i've seen since Aztek and the Isuzu SUV (Sport-cross maybe). And that's saying a lot.

the 5 is ugly but it's supposed to be a really good car and makes for a killer platform for the upcoming M5, but it's still ugly and exspensive and not proven for reliability yet...

Think I'm gonna have to go with the GT3 because it's just badass, well, hmm it's kinda pricey though...but it does have a lot of neat features and a low ET and *****in' handling...

then there's the STi and the Roadster, don't much care for the looks of the roadster though...

think I'll just not vote, it's easier that way:D

Cold Zero, how about sharing your comment?

The Porsche was by far the best performing car but when you factor in the $100K pricetag, the Sube and Z look like amazing bargains at 1/3 the cost.
