Don't say what you're going to do on an Internet forum, just do it.
Cops around here are way different.
I was coming back to work after grabbing some food at Taco Bell. I passed an Explorer on the left right before two lanes merged into one. Plenty of room, nowhere near hitting them. They honk their horn and flip me off (I see it in my rearview), so I give them the finger back. I park in front of my work, they pull up behind me, and a big guy, 6'+, all tatted up jumps out and runs up to my car. I rolled up the windows and locked the doors. He starts yelling at me about how I almost killed his kids, blah blah blah, I tried to explain to him that I passed him safely and didn't even come close to hitting him, but of course he wasn't listening to reason. He tells me he's going to shoot me, cut my eyes out, etc., and finishes up by saying, "now I know where you work"
I'd been in somewhat similar road rage situations before, but never where someone knew anything about me. Something in his eyes was different than everyone else too, and I took him seriously. All the other times I let it go, but this time I called the cops.
Cop came out, took the license number I gave him, found out he was on parole, and told me that even if they didn't use this incident, he'd find a reason to violate his parole and lock him up. Here's the craziest part: the cop gave me the guy's address. I think that might have been his way of saying, "he might know where you work, but now you know where he lives."
