Im looking for a road race tech guide link for a Z, but i kinda want to steer away from twinturbo.net, i don't like their layout too much, its hard to follow.

Also, do people like to disconnect the HICAS for road racing or do they keep them on?

i agree with you on Twinturbo.net -- not crazy about their site -- can't help you on your question though -- i wonder how many illinois Z owners do we have in here -- would be nice to know when we need to do some work on our cars --- i just an EGR delete kit and it should be a no brainer for anyone mechanical -- but i haven't got a &*#@%$# clue -- maybe if we could find some chicagoland z owners -- when we had small jobs we could buy some beer or liquor of choice and get our hands dirty with oil !

the Z32 was never really popular for road racing, the factory backed GT cars were just tube chassis that looked like Z32's

the problem road racing the Z32 is they are heavy and have a lot of shortcomings for racing, if you want to road race you want to bassically strip ti to a bare shell, remove all sound deadening, undercoating ets, stitch weld the chassis add a cage and build acording the rules of the calss you inted to run, and anything that doesn't make the car stop go or turn stays off

honestly I hated HICAS since the first time i drove my car, Go for an elimination bar in the rear if you prefer a little more control over the rear end.
