I'm new to the G35, in my case a 2004 with only 17,000 miles on it. Can anyone advise what's causing a general road noise noticed especially under 15 MPH? Definitely not the squeal of brakes, more low-end "rumbling". Would seem to be more than tire noise (by the way, I'm running Michelin Pilot Sport). But what I've read elsewhere in other Forum entries perhaps I should look no further! Nor do I hear a mechanical grinding. But here too: maybe bearings going out?

So speeds greater than 15mph you don't hear any noise? Could be suspension...need more info!

If I were you I would look around for another 2004 G35 and test drive that one as a comparison. It sure sounds like a tire issue but perhaps you could temporarily swap out all four tires for a test drive? If the problem remains after a tire swap perhaps a visit to the dealer to get it checked out might be the next step?

is it continuously under 15mph or just after you start it? i know that ABS does a quick check when you first get goping after it sits for a while. for an 04 to only have 17k miles it must have sat for a while. tires might be warped a little. try a rotate. cheap!

You are probably experiencing tire feathering and you hear the noise as it is more pronounced at lower speeds. Check the insides of your tires and see if you are getting feathering. There will be a high/low feeling when you rub your fingers across the tread.

toe never really fixed the problem...it was the camber. you could adjust the toe a little bit to help but never fixed it

Road noises in a G35 is normal.

But highspeed noises are usualy the tires or seats.
