best drifting ever, all the drivers that made top 16 had lots of skillz. the viper (sams car) had to battle the ae86 about 6 or 7 times before the judges could pick a winner, the 86 over heated in the 7 run so the viper won by dafult. i will definately go back next year. there was also lots of 240

just to say in short EVERYONE was very highly pissed off I will say that the judges were paid off to keep the viper going on and on and on just for ratings.....tell me who in their right mind would put a $150,000 500WHP CAR (VIPER) against a $8,000 180WHP Car (AE86)

last i checked in tandem drifting the follower is supposed to FOLLOW the person in front of you and is supposed to follow their line while maintaining a consistant drift and keep as close to them as possible. NOT drive like your on a road coarse and do a straight burn out to make it look like your drifting.

and when the person in front gets father away they have the advantage...but when the person behind gains on you you lose advantage...just like the ae86 did every single time!

just my 2 cents....judges do crazy things for money

again the ae86s get cheated....anyways GO PACIFIC RIM SILVIA

i was actually going to open a forum on this subject, but then i saw this one so i figured i'd chime in. road atl is right down the street from my house, so naturally i had to be there. i knew the viper would win as bad as i hated it. i think next year sam hubinette needs to be put in an ae86 to see if he really has the skills or if it is simply 500 horses doing all the work. i have no respect for him. i think rhys, daijiro, taka and calvin wan all were more entertaining. my favorite would have to be bubba drift un the big bad el camino! if he had not gone against millen he could have taken it home

i would say half of the crowd left when they gave the win to Sam in the viper over taka...All i can say is yes I give Sam and Tarzan credit for acually being able to handle those big cars and drift them without hitting someone else but on a SKILL Level and a STYLE level the TAKA made them look like garbage

Dai in the pacific Rim car had the fastest entry speeds going into the first turn and they only mentioned it like once, man i wish my videos urned out better.

so did anyone else posting on here drive their 240s to the event? there must have been hundreds of them. If anyone cares mine was the white s14 with a burgundy hood and black right fender. Does anyone know of any other drift events happening in or around GA any time soon?

is that the same pacific rim silvia that used to be silver? I just read a write up on that car in Modified a few months back... looks awesome in red!

you know there's one thing I hate about drifting.. there are only so many 240s and silvias out there (not to mention the super rare toyota ae86's), I wonder how many will be left in 5 years?

we should all garage our babies and get el caminos!
