I couldn't get my exhaust off and being at school I gave in and decided to just let a shop do it. It was put on monday, saturday night it fell off when I was driving back to school. I was about 60 miles outside of school and the exhaust was way too hot for me to do anything with to put it back on. One of the bolts had come off and the bracket was out of the rubber thing. That's what let it drag on the ground without having the muffler come off. Even at 10mph under the speedlimit it still made my car and very very sad.

When they put the exhaust on those brackets only had the tips in the rubber and they had to pull the rubber to the side just to do that. Unfortunitly I didn't know about that and I didn't check after they installed. I didn't see how badly they did on installing it until after I was there and they were putting it on the second time, they bent the brackets to make it fit. Luckily Greg is a kick *** guy and is doing everythign he can to help me get it repaired opposed to the shop who messed up the install and I'm currently trying to get money from to pay for it.

damn man, that sucks balls. I stood in the shop and took pictures while they installed mine. Took some shots of a problem area as well. I noticed that the hangers were a bit loose and that let the muffler shake.. you may want to order a few from ebay and put em on. Well worth the $16 I spent.

Yeah I'll get most of the rust off in a couple weeks when school lets out. I'm just going to jack my car up and take out the transmission to put in the new clutch. So when I do that I'm going to do my best to get rid of it. I paid for it on the credit card so I'm filing a dispute with them to get the money I paid for installation back. No way I'm going to let some crap shop ruin my new exhaust. $740 on an exhaust is too much to have it damaged in the first week.

As far as mounts, there's three on the muffler pipe and one on the resonator, but not all s13's have the mount on the car for the bracket on the resonator. I know mine didn't have it. Greg just puts it on that way he doesn't have to worry whether the car has it or not.

$740!?!?!?!?!?!?! WOW. That is near highway robbery! I paid $660 for my HKS Hi Power and I thought that was too much for a stainless catback (but I am an HKS whore so I paid and smiled)

It was $740 with a high flow cat and shipping though. The actual exhaust was like $560 I think, then $135 for the cat and $45 for the shipping. Which comes out to $740.
