There's RMS power, Dynamic power, and Maximum power... what's the difference between the three you say?

In simple terms,

RMS power is the amount of power the amplifier can put out over a long period of time.

Maximum power is just double the RMS power, a pretty useless figure that's only used in marketing.

Dynamic power is the amount of power the amplifier can put out in small bursts before the amplifier clips.

Out of the three figures, the one that matters the most is the RMS power.
