So, I've been away for a few years, it doesn't feel the same! Where did everyone go? Did something happen that I'm not seeing? I've been posting on my million year build thread and people use to be excited about it, now I check and see over a 100 views but nobody gives any feed back, guess I'm just wondering is it me?

It has slowed down a bit over the years. However, all the people that matter are here!

You're build thread is awesome by the way. Everytime I get to the end I feel like a crackhead that needs a fix. Its something totally different that I've never seen anyone doing before. Rock on brother!

Sometimes there comes a point where most questions have been asked and answered. What remains is a massive archive of info (and the ad revenue that comes from it).

I just don't have the time to lurk like I would love to. Also my garage has been in Neglect since the child. I think alot of members are kinda there right now. I will admit I don't comment as much maybe I should even though I read it.

Sky's asking about his build thread, not the site in general. See it here: my-project-jacquemond-kit-t166931.html

Traffic is bananas. The problem is, that build thread is SEVEN years old. :) Most folks have read it, re-read it, and followed it 'til they think there won't be any further updates.

Same thing happened with my droptop build series. After seeing it at the top of the forum for years, interest tapers off.

Welcome back!

I'd rather drive a 370z or skyine over anything toyota, Honda or Mazda is making at the moment, I don't think Nissan is looking that bad! There is a certain car that Lexus makes that might make my statement not true but that's a crazy amount of money so it's unrealistic

They can only hide behind the 370z and the gtr for so long....

Given, they do make some pretty good A to B people movers too, but those are completely irrelevant to my interests.

Welcome back?

Majority car related forums are slowing down due to Facebook and other social media means. The way of the forum is not appealing to children of the now.. Not like us old schoolers who grew up on AOL chatrooms...

The Z is a nice car but the Camaro and Mustang offer as many thrills for less money, plus the next Camaro and Mustang are going on a diet and will likely be quite affordable. Everything else Nissan makes is bland junk. It used to be that the soul of the Z found its way into everything in Nissan's lineup. Every Nissan had a particular feel and sense of responsiveness and durability to it. Now it seems like the Z stands alone in a sea of mush.

Meanwhile, Mazda is working hard to make sure everything (even CUVs and minivans) shares some of the Miata's sprightly feel. I respect an automaker than puts a bit of fun and human emotion into everything it builds more than one that builds a good but completely unrelated sports car. It's kind of like how Chevrolet makes one excellent sports car (Corvette) while churning out rentacar turds like the new Malibu.

Yeah... she's hilarious. She will definitely be working on her own shizz in the future. I will keep a spare S-chassis around for her later in life.

Once my life get sorted I plan on knocking it out my RB20 build, need to pick up a harness soon. I hear they include like 3 MAF plugs on the WS harness, wow the future is great already.
