Thatcher's funeral is today. As Britain's first female PM she's remembered most for busting unions, winning the Falklands, reversing decades of British economic decline, ending rampant inflation, and being our strongest ally during the Cold War. Others remember her for aggressively privatizing and dismantling Britain's heavily nationalized industries and leaving the northern region with high unemployment.
The last time most Americans saw her was at Reagan's funeral.
