My deepest condolences go out to Jorge's family and friends. RIP Jorge.

Will NICO set up a benefit/donation for his family or should we contribute through the local Dallas club?

well if you search on Drift drag and drive Azndriftr is selling wrists band to show respect to Jorge.. he said any money he is giving will go directly to the Lopez family. Also i am guessing that if you really wanted to show support to his family just being at either the funeral or the memorial on saturday would do a whole lot

It's so sad to hear that a fellow enthusiast was lost so selfishly and so unexpectedly. I would like to find a way to help support the Lopez family. Please let us know what we can do to show support, perhaps decals or wristbands?

Please take care out there fellas. The world is becoming colder, so as enthusiasts we should definitely show support to Jorge as well as one another.

RIP Jorge Lopez

That's just horrible, I didn't know him at all, but my respects to him and his family who have to suffer such a loss for no reason at all.

Its sad that things like that happen like this all the time and its scary that there's nothing one can do to prevent it

I would rock a decal on my car in his memory, there is a fellow nico-er that does custom decals shakeriocoupe that can make the decals

RIP Jorge.

i didnt know the guy but from what everyone has says hes a stand up guy and will be missed in the 240 community.

a similar thing happend where am from, Nashville, on our local forum a fellow member died in a car wreck and we made sticks honoring him. All the proceeds of the stickers went to the family to help them out.. I think the same needs to be done in this case.

Even though i didnt know the man, i would proudly rock one of those stickers.

This is extremely saddening. I saw the story on mute on CNN back on Tuesday, but didn't know any details. I got a R.I.P. message from Tan, but didn't connect the dots until now...

I met Jorge the one time I when to the local meet. He was a really nice guy. He offered to take me in a ride in his s13 to get a feel for his coilovers to help me pick out what I wanted for my car.

Sign me up for a sticker, too. It'll be the only one I rock on my car. If I gotta move Heaven and Earth, I'll be at that memorial meet...

maybe he joined the site to make the post about the fund? maybe hes a close friend or family member but isnt on the site?

just dont assume without knowing anything.

but the smart thing to do is donate at the service.

just as sad as an ex-bank teller or an ex-politician. we should all be held individually responsible for our actions when it comes down to it.

lets keep this thread on-track, if you want to start another about the alleged shooter please do so.
