ring lost in drivers side defrost vent *pic included*

So, I lost my ring in the defrost vent of my 2013 maxima. I've read a previous post about this, and it's been helpful, but I'm stuck. I bought a borescope and fished it down into the vent and FOUND THE RING! But, I have no idea where I am. I'm hoping someone could explain where in the vent system I am, as it's very hard to torque the scope.

I still haven't been able to get it out. I have two of those grabber things, but the stiff tip won't go into the angled vent. I have tried that, a long catheter that I got from work (I work in healthcare), the camera with a hook at the end, and a wire clothes hanger. The catheter actually came closest, since it allowed me to torque and turn the catheter at subtle angles. So frustrating.
