First -

Second - It will depend on quite a few things. Is your car lowered? Will you buy a wheel with a high positive offset? Will you buy a wheel that is several sizes oversized > 19". Will you put on appropriate, or skinny tires to compensate for the size concerns? Will you roll the fender edges?

I've seen 20x9s fit with ease and 18x8s rub all day due to offset and sizing mistakes. Find a wheel and get the specs on it first. Once you have the specs, it will be much easier to determine.

18x8 Murano wheels fit but barely. 9-inch wheels are going to be very wide for the fender. You just need to jack the car up and get a tape measure out to see how much room there is between the shock and wheel (>5mm) and measure to the outside of the fender. That is all the room you have to play with unless you get the fenders rolled and pulled.

Like digitalbow said, if you're going to lower it, then you need to be sure the tires aren't so wide that they will rub on the fenders when the suspension compresses.
