Google "tire size calculator" and use it to figure out what you need. The one on Miata.net is the easiest to use.

Also, most wheels sites allow you to enter in your vehicle year, make, and model and they will match up wheels that fit, and usually tires too. Use the calculator to double check, though.

18"s will require extremely thin tires. They'll ride rough and bend easily. They also tend to look awkward on 00-06 Sentras.

I have done some looking into that at factory height 18" will fit but you are going to want nothing bigger then a 40 series tire right now I have the factory SpecV 17' and I have 225 45 ZR 17 I am doing a 2 inch drop front and rear so I am going with a 225 40 ZR 17

Stock Specs have 215/45/17s. Are you running 225s on the stock wheels? They're a bit narrow for that.

225/40 is going to be a bit short. 225/45s are only ~9/10's of a mph off (60=60.9) and would probably not rub even with a 2in drop unless your offset is wrong.

Oh, and to the OP: 18"s would also make your brakes look extremely tiny and ridiculous.

yeah I had 215 but they looked to skiny I put 225 on them it has held up with no problems I have had them on since 06 I am getting ready to get new rims and tires.

And if he gets 18' the factory rotors would look crazy small I recomend a upgraded brake kit the big brake kit is what I am going with it is like $1300 per axcel but it looks ALOT better and performes better

lol big brake kit on a 1.8 sentra...thats like putting a parachute on a Toyota prius to slow it down...lmfao

im sorry but spending 2k on big brakes just so they look nicer is pointlessgo with 17" rims itll look nice and you wont have issues

and just a suggestion for tires. ive had nothing but great experience with kumho ecsta's. They give you alot better handling then the stock tires will.
