i have a red 2005 350z and i want to get some rims but i dont know what size will look good so if any one can help me out i would apriciate it

Try http://www.tirerack.com , it will let you see how smoe will look on the car.

Their sizing is a bit conservative, but will give you a good idea.

Are you looking at 17's, 18's, 19's or 20's?

I'd recommend 18's. 18x9 up front, 18x10 in the back, Just keep in mind good/quality wheels alone in those sizes will run you over $2k.
