Maybe Maxhopper97 (Scott) knows, but is a 2006 G35 17x 7 rims able to fit on to a 1997 i30 no issues? Thanks

you're talking about the 6 spoke or 7 spoke? well, regardless, they'll fit. just look on the inside of the rim to see if they are marked front and rear. if so, make sure the tires go on the right wheels (for the directional tires). then, make sure the tire shop puts them in the right spot as well.

They are the 6 spoke..I actually like the 7 spoke better..how do you think the 6 spoke would look on a 97 i30? I'm thinking the 6spoke would atleast look better than the stock 15" fan wheels....Thanks for the info, atleast I know they will fit with no probs.

Big Thanks for the advice and opinion. I did a little research and these are staggered sizes? the fronts are different from the rear? Fronts 17x7.5 and rear is 17x8? will that throw off the fitment a little? This is only from the G35 coupe...if it's from the G35 sedan than it's just straight 17x7 all around? I plan to buy the rims tomorrow, but this will be a straight buy and I will not be able to mount the rims on my car or return them later. They just told me that it's off an 06' g35 and used only for 3 months tops with the factory potenza tires.

now that you mention that, they are staggard. but it will be ok. you juat have to remember that when you take it to get tires rotated. (if tires are same size all around, should be 225/40ZR18) if so, just tell them they have to dismount, rotate, then mount and balance again.

Are these wheels off a coupe or a sedan?

If a sedan, they'll all be the same size and the offset will be a bit higher, but not high enough to be an issue.

If off a coupe, they'll be staggered (though you could run the same size tires on all 4 if you want) and the offset will be a bit lower. WHich should help bring the wheels/tires out to be "more flush" with the wheel well openings.

The guy couldnt meet today, but he said it was off a coupe and the 6 spokes are not staggered because it's off from a base model. Does that sound right?..thanks

i was under the impression that coupes came staggard regardless, and sedans were not. not so sure.

Same here ... except for the 18" G35 coupe, which had staggered tires even though the wheels were all the same width?!?!?
