The pictures are kinda small, but from what I can discern, they're looking pretty slick! Congrats!

I usually do too big of pictures....now, of course, too small. I'm sure they will get blown up at some point.

I think those are the Sterns? They're heavy as hell. 18's may not be too bad, but I think my 20's were twice as heavy as the OEM 17's.

Style is not everything, I pulled my 20's off because they were too heavy to take to the track... I was pissed when I first pulled out of the driveway to find it was so sluggish.

Yah! That's my biggest concern with aftermarket wheels is finding a set that won't affect performance. I can't find a set of forged rims that are lighter than the factory 19s. Most that are close are Volks or something else from Rays that cost upwards of $700 a wheel.

Nate:

Try NISMO wheels--as light as OEM forged wheels.

That would be because they are manufactured in the same plant as the OEM 19s. See where it says "RAYS" on the side of the wheel? RAYS Engineering is where the OEM 19s, all of the Forged Nismo wheels, Volks...etc are made.

Plus, aren't the NISMO wheels like $600-$700 a piece?

Yep! Its the $600 - $700 a piece that makes me weak and tired after I am done salivating for a Nismo wheel. I love NISMO wheels, but they are too darn expensive.

Other than the slight improvement in looks, there's not enough of a reason for me to change from the OEM 19s to the NISMOs.

For that price, I'd go with AME rims.

NATE,I didn't weigh them before install but after carrying them around I think the new ones are just a tick lighter, maybe a couple of pounds each. I'm just going for visual changes, not making a racer so I'm not too concerned as long as they aren't made of lead.

Good to see you're still adding things to your car! When are you going to finish that VB upgrade?

32 and 35 offsets?

really?

I'm trying to be as nice as possible here, but those offsets are weak. If you are aiming for flush fitment, you are off. (please don't hate me!)

Maybe it's just me, but where I'm from and the car enthusiasts I hang around with, having bad fitment is like having herpes... except everyone knows that you have it.

Definition of good fitment:

and

I don't have wheels yet due to the lack of funds (College is expensive), but when I get my wheels... that is what I'm aiming for. Good offsets for the G's are in between high teens and low twenties.

I understand that my opinion is different from yours, and if you wanna flame me or anything that's cool too.

But, for the record... your wheels look nice

It's all good.....we all have what we like and don't like. I wasn't going for the "flush" look, I just wanted a subtle change. I'm not doing alot of big mods to the body and such, I just want to make a sleeper to piss off all the guys that spend everything on how it looks rather than how it runs. If I wanted to ruin the ride I would have gone for 20" rims and slammed it, but I still want to be able to carve the corners AND run to the grocery store too...know what I mean? Besides, I'm new to this whole "tuner" thing....I'm a good ole boy thats used to runnin rock roads sideways in a chevelle or jacked up truck. HAHA
