So here are the rims I have on layaway, these are 17's, the ones I am getting are 18's. They have a nice polished lip on em that is about 4" lip, they looked so sick sitting next to the car on the ground in 17, I can only imagine the 18.

Tell me what you guys think!?

They are nice rims, will suit your car nicely.

Please don't skimp, get good tyres!

I think those will look great on your all black car. The polished lips will add some subtle bling, and I think that's just classy. I think these wheels will look much better than those other ones you posted here: zerothread/228217

Look good. Are they the right offset for our cars? If so they'll look good with the deep lip. Not too many deep lip rims for FWD.I personally would go with 17's. The extra sidewall of the 17 means more air and better ride quality. I also think the 18 is too low of a profile needed. However with out seeing one in person I can't really say for sure. What kind and size tires will be going on?

Yea these rims look a lot better than those posted before, but they looked good on the internet. They had the Motegi version of the ones I posted before, and they don't have a lip and look kinda ehhh. They are FWD rims. The 18 fills up the wheel well nicer, they will be put on some 205/40-18R tires, which I will not be skimping on tires. I will be getting some Nexxen or Essenza, which are now called Fierce. Off brand tires, but have owned them before, and are great tires. They are currently on my Mustang GT, and are fantastic in both rain and dry pavement, and are quiet enough for my taste. I am able to go very fast with them without worrying about losing control.

That's along the line of what I'd get if I got black rims. They'd have to have that polished rim. I wish I could even afford to put rims on layaway, but my weekly pay is consumed in bills. Not to worry, though, when May comes I'll be working my two summer jobs and hopefully bring in about $1250 a week. I guess you can say I'll be pretty busy with my car this summer.

I'll spend my Sundays working on my car and/or I will take my car to my friend Rob's shop and leave it there for a night or two. I can carpool to work those days, so I will be able to have my car done by the end of the summer without a doubt.
