Just wondering of putting rims on will make my gas mileage worse. They are 17" rims. Not sure what size the tires are, i would have to check.

If you keep the tires the same size, it should not change your mileage. Use this to figure out what size to use.

man who cares about gas milage as long as your ride looks good the fatter the tire the more gas burns b/c theres more friction and needs more power to move it but its safe when the road is wet or slippery

I would expect a heavier wheel/tire combination to adversely affect fuel economy, especially if you spend a lot of time in city driving conditions. How much difference depends on how much heavier.

Correcto

A tire/rim combo that is heavier than factory will lower overall fuel efficiency and power. Getting a tire/rim combo that is lighter can increase fuel efficiency and free up some ponies due to less unsprung weight.
