Just bought my wife a new versa (light blue) and she wants some decent rims. Looking for black painted if possible - any links besides tire rack, etc. that I might want to know about? Thanks!

Hey, Welcome to Nico Club. There is another site I like its http://tires.com . Any rim with a bolt pattern of 4-114.3 and an offset of ~40 will look good (I think 40 is stock offset correct me if im wrong). Here are the rims im going to pick up.

That picture shows 5 lug's but they ship you a set with 4 lugs.

+40mm offset is within the range of "good" for a Versa.

I live in the stone ages with dial up and have never tried this site, but a buddy in the tire and rim business says to go to wheelenvisio.com. He tells me it is a virtual site that lets you but any rim on any make and color of car and see what it looks like before you spend your cash. Hope it works for you.

I'm looking at a set of 7 & 1/2 X 18" rims with a 42mm offset with 225 x 40 x 18" tires with 420 tread wear rating. They look cool, but..........

Has anyone out there got any experience mounting 18" tires and wheel on a Versa SL????

Thanks,

Yachtenguy in Sarasota FL

yeah I've seen 20's on versa's they can fit huge wheels...

The trick is all in the offset 7" wide will fit to +35mm and I am thinking 8" may fit with a +45 ish offset but a 17"-20" x 8" with +45 or higher is hard to find...

Also... while most stock alloys are (relatively speaking) heavy, going more than +1 usually nets you an even HEAVIER rim, unless you take care to select one that weighs less than the stock rim. So if you go too big, you'll lose even more performance simply from the added rotational mass of the bigger wheels.

speaking of stock size wheels, anyone happen to know what wheels were put on the Turn 3 versa that was featured in Siphon magazine? I am looking for a set of those wheels for autox. I read the article on them and all it says was a 15x7 cast aluminum wheel with kumho rubber...
