does anyone happen to have any pics of the emerald blue 240sx well a s14 with gold rims? Oh yeah will 17's on a s14 with a 2 inch drop look good you think because im trying to feel up the gap in my car. Also ummm is a 40+ or a 42+ offset be good enough to ride on?

the stock offset is 40 i woildnt go any higher or your gonna sink your wheels. maybe like a 35 to 25 offset sounds good

I personally would not buy +40 or +42 offset wheels. To me its just wasting money on wheels that will still look sunk in as the stock wheels already do.

With a 2 inch drop, 17's will look very nice. You pretty much will completely eliminate wheel gap.

one thing you can look into are good wheel spacers w/ longer studs...saying that you cant quite afford good offset wheels...but htose spacers will cost you about $210 for all 4 wheels...:(

just food for thought

Where are you buying your spacers from, cause they've gotta be made out of gold or something. Must suck to live in NoVA;).

25 mm H&R DRM Spacers thru Options are 120 a set and they just bolt on to your factory studs and come with four new studs already installed in the spacer. that is really what i have.

yeah, that's what i plan to get...except only 15mm spacers, which i think come w/ new studs to press into the stock hubs

anything under 25 comes with press in studs if they are made by H&R. now i have heard that Eibach has came out with some that are similar but they are too new for me to trust. and you can't say that spacers are gay cause do you know how many of those awesome offsets the popular drifters have are because of large spacers?

Question, I have a s13 and am about to do the 5 lug conversion with SE wheels. I would like to get spacers for this set up and just dont know enough about this. could a couple people give me their opinion, please. I would like them to be further out but not too far. Thanks

i think the SE wheels have a 40 mm offset so a set of 10 mm spacers would make it look decent and would clear all coilovers and Z brakes.

if you re just going to run stock se wheels i would run a huge sopace and get it as close to 0 offset as posible. 15x7 wiha 0 offset is nice negitive is even better

what? the stock rims are 7" wide w/ +40 offset...you're rying to say that they need to be pushed out to the fenders 4cm? if not more?

that's a bit overkill dude...they're only sunken in about 4cm...and if you're anywhere near the fenders w/ your tires...you dont want them to scrub...cuz that's never good... i guess if you've got rolled fenders, or a suspension that sits high enough in the rear ( i dont think mine does) then i guess you'd be alright...but i would think maybe 25-30mm spacers would be about all you'd wanna use...

the stock ones are nowhere near flush and they are 6.5 stock.

personally next wheels i get will be 17x9 with anywhere from a 0 to a +20 offset closer to 0 is better

17x9 all around using a +22 offset. 8" is the least i would go with.
