I was looking at this set of Rims for my KA24E (lol I just add the engine so it does not seem like i'm posting in the wrong forum ) 4 14" X 6" SILVER FINISH PROLINE RIMS CU55

OFFSET: 38

BOLT PATTERN: 5 X 100/5 X 114.3

BACKSPACE: 5

Will these work on a 89 240SX? the seller has it listed that they work with S14s Did Nissan change the bolt pattern from the s13-s14?

Thanks!

your bolt pattern is 4x114.3, and why not post these types of things in the correct forum?(the suspension forum)

personally, I think the best offsets for the s13 are

25 mm in the front35 mm in the rear

14's would look really stupid by the way.... 14's go on Kei cars, not 240's.

do you realize how small that is?

I know a guy with 14's on a Civic hatch, and they look ridiculously small even on that.

I think my big wheel had a 14 up front.

stock is 15", theres nothing wrong with running a 14" wheel if thats what you want to do.

id rather run a 14" than a 17", but thats just me, its more about tire compound than tire diameter.

16's or 17's... i have seen 18's on a 180 and they look bad ***... the mesh style rims. But I think tires are more expensive for 18's. But 16's will look sorta stupid if you don't have suspension (that's just my opinion) especially if you get low profile tires then the gap between your fender and tire will be huge and it make the wheels look oh so smaller. I say go with some 17's. It just depends on what you are going for... performance or style. If you go 18... that's more style. I have 17's because it's in the middle.

16" wheels are probably the overall best sized wheels imo, save weight, $$ on tires, better sizes than stock. the only compromise would be appearance when compared to a bigger wheel.

but like i said before, id rather my wheels look to small than feel to big.

You do *not* want 6" wide wheels on your S13 dude...

If you're really on about running 14's, you can do it, but they need to be a helluva lot wider than that. I dunno how wide exactly the Konig Rewinds are, but something like that might work, with big, fat rubber. How about some smaller circle racing wheels, like what DeviousKA runs? Or diamond racing?

You could also pick up some smaller, used JDM wheels from ebay, or rbmotoring, or takumi project. Some SSR MK2R's, Wats, Hayashis, Southern Ways Meshies, etc...

And +38 offset = t3h poo. I think the rewinds come in zero offset.

14's should clear the stock brakes fine, don't wiegh anything, forged aluminum is cheap in 14" sizes, and have incredably cheap high quality tires available. Sounds like a plan.

15" isn't bad either.
