Sooo decided to put my rims on which are a year old and I kno I bent it a little bit last year summer.. Yesterday took it in the tire shop to get it inflated an they told me it had two cracks on the inner side about an inch long.. is this fixable? What's the average cost if any? Did the Bend cause the cracks? If so why only now?? I just want an answer to my 3000 dollar rims ...

They are 20 inches by 8.5... Anyone else had a similar issue with 20s?

if your running 20" rims with low profile tires then bending and cracking are always a chance if you have any bad roads around you or pot holes.. as for fixing it, cracked rims are hard because it could throw off the balance and cause the car to vibrate but i've heard of them being repaired so i guess it depends on the damage, best thing to do would be to take it to a specialist .. and what kind of rims are they?

Only time for me was when I ate a curb in a past ride and bent both 20s on one side, was told there were a total loss. Was my own fault tho. Never had touble with regular roads. Would like to hear more chime in on this.

Can they be repaired most likely yes, but i alot don't recommend it. Like shadow said they could be thrown off balance and after repair may not have the same structural integrity they had before the crack/bend. And prices always vary from place to place and depending on the size of the crack.

What wheels are they?

For $3,000 you could have gotten some nice, light, forged wheels that wouldn't have cracked...

Many wheel shops can weld the crack.
