So im new to the nico community but ive been part of other forums (nwstreetracing) but anways i recently bought a G35 also and so far im loving it. but to the point

I have an 04 with the TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) and wanted to know if anyone had any problems with it when they bought new rims. im sure you can swap the sensor over to the new rims but im not 100% sure. so i was wondering if anyone can give me their experience with it.

also i wanted to get the work emotions cr or the work meisters s2rs but not too sure where to get it from. not a big fan of buying stuff online but if i have to i will. and i was also wondering if 18x9 and 18x10 would be good. im not sure what the OEM size is but so far thats what i assume (car came without owners manual)

and has anyone upsized in tires? i have 225/45/18s and 245/45/18s which are oem.

anways thanks everyone, youll see me alot on here because im still learning about the G! have a great holiday!

Welcome to NICO!

Lots of guys get aftermarket rims...I would assume that the TPS will transfer over without any problems.

Check out tirerack for info on upsizing tires. I have stock 19's with wider tires all-round.

I have upgraded to 19's... 8.5 in front and 10 in rear.. The Tire presure censor...from my understanding is connected to the valve and actually sits inside the tire itself..... the censor sits in between the inner part of the rim and the inner part of the actual tire.

When i purchased new wheel/tires the company had them already balanced and mounted for me so when i arrived they would just swap......but then they realized I had the tire pressure censor, so they then had to take the tire off the rim, add the sensor, re balance/mount and air up.....you will not have any problems.
