Hey everyone. I have a black 2004 G35 Sedan. I feel like with all of the newer G35s out there, mine needs a makeover. Im thinking of putting rims on it, maybe 19 inch ones. What do you guys think? And also, what other classy modifications can I make to it. I attached a pic of my car before I had the windows tinted. I want to make heads turn again like I used to when I bought it!

19 inch wheels would be a nice improvement. There are some very tasteful body kits out there as well if you want to spend some money.

Rims and some form of Aero kit would make it rock again. IMO, adding too much to the G's make them look less classy.

BTW, Welcome to NICO!

If you want it to still look classy go for bigger wheels. 19" wheels are ok but if you want to have heads look your way I would say go for 20" wheels. They would look perfect tucked under your sedan chassis. You could also go black on black and still keep it clean. If you still want to keep a clean look without going black on black I would definitely go with SSR Werfen wheels. They are beautiful.

Let's consider a few of things:

1) The G35 gets mediocre/horrible Fuel Economy2) The 03/04 Sedans were the lowest rated (power) G35s3) Larger wheels almost always = heavier and higher moment of intertia4) 18"+ tires are expensive as all hell

With that being said, I'd vote for some lightweight 18s. You can look at some take offs from a newer G35 or M35/45 or check into Wedsports, Gram Lights or anything Forged from RAYS (though that would be quite costly).

The best looking 1st gen sedan I've seen was Yerv's out here in SoCal. He had it dropped an inch or two and debadged. Made a huge difference.
