Hello pple,I'm considering getting new 18" rims and tires for an 08 alti coupe. If anybody read what i wrote in the past, i think its 08 Alti coupe weakest link, so i'm planning on investing on that first. Anybody knows which would be the biggest size if tires that fit this car with 18s??? or any suggestions on rim/tire combination? The thing is that i changed rims and tires for my last car. i bought a larger rim which gave me a lot more grip and stability BUT driving became too hard. i mean, bumps and everything felt a lot more... i wouldnt like this to happen again, i'd like to have a balance between a better grip without loosing that much confort (softness) while driving.

Here's a post you may want to read if you haven't already: http://forums.altimas.org/zerothread?id=297055 It goes into quite a bit of detail regarding the ideal tire size for comfort and ride quality. Probably answers most or all of your questions.

Right now I have 225/45/18 Falken Fk-452's but plan on going with 245/45/18's when I get the Falken Azenis. So 245's will fit fine on 18's mang.

I'm planning on going with 235/45/18

still... anybody knows if 235/50/18 would fit?or perhaps 225/50/18???

i've driven on 225/45/17 and driving seems too stiff for me plus rims get hurt very easily.i'm changing wheels because i think stock wheels are just too lousy.

any thoughts???

I think 235/45 -18 is perfect for looks, performance, comfort and mexican roads.
