that all depends. if have a tt and use your hicas steering. 8 inch wide i believe is max. and n/a or a hicas eliminator on a tt will allow you up to 10 inches depending on the offset for the rear. 9 i believe wood be max for the front.i'm running 81/2 and 91/2 on my na . keep in mind just half an inch could increase your tire costs as much as 100 dollars a tire more.

eliminating hican doesn't move the outer tie rod ends, you have as much room on either model and the TT came with 8.5 stock

I run 9.5r/8.5f on my NA with 265/235's.

The tires don't cost THAT much more, maybe a 20-30$ difference over stock.

I wasn't aware HICAS reduced the available width of the tires? anybody have pictures of why this is?

I cant see why HICAS would affect tire size...

I have a set of kuhmo ecsta supra's (not my first choice -- would have been advans -- but I got them for a damn good price...) and they outperformed my expectations. Lots of grip and no noise at all -- I haven't had them for long enough to give an accurate tread wear judgement, but with my camber its hard to judge proper tread wear.
