Ok, after doing some searching and REsearching. i've decided i'm going to run a 255/60/15 Mickey Thompson D/r on my S13 Coupe. I will have these tires mounted on a 9" Wide Rim. and the car will have rolled rear fenders, and most likely pulled fenders.

Should this be good for me? Car will be a street/strip car. I just want to make sure that these will fit on the car. Right now it has 205/55/15's on a stock body Coupe. well with the wheels i'm getting widened from 7in to 9in.

Only other thought of tire size is a 275/50/15 (any issues there?)

Thanks Nico

if your wondering why i need/want a Drag Radial it's going on a 400WHP S13 Coupe

Everything matters on offset. You're going to need it to be higher than "flush" offset; like something around 30, probably. If you pick the right offset, the 275's shouldn't be any problem. There are people running 315's on pulled stock body (S14) so just about anything is possible. I think the 255's would be much easier to fit on the front (you don't specify whether you want to do this all around, but since you want a drag car I'm guessing you don't want to run giant tires in the front).

What kind of offset would i need to run these? i'm getting my rims widened from a 15X7 (0offset) to a 15X9

Like I said before, around a +30 would be good with the 275's depending on the camber you want to run. I would think 0 camber would be best for drag racing.

This is just a guess. Make sure you get another opinion too, preferably from Adrian.

yeah thats what i'm hoping for. i don't trust myself to pay $800 in rear rims and tires and have there be a major issue.

thanks for the help though.

You must really love those 15's of yours to spend so much to widen them tho...wouldn't it be cheaper to buy new ones?

Eh, i personally HATE running differant front/rear rims i want a complete pair. And any other wheels i want are atleast $800-1000 WITHOUT any tires, plus atleat $400 in tires, eh not so much. but i am considering it.
