Ok so i recently got an offer of 17x9 +12 P45R's (hyper black) in 235/40/17 falken azenis for my 16x8 +0 Enkei 92s (gold) wrapped in yokohama a048 at 195/50/16 in front and pirelli super sports at 205/50/16 in the rears. Both tires have about the same wear, his have a little more camber wear. Everyone i talked to says its about an even trade and I'm wondering what you guys think? I can post pics if needed and links to craiglist ads. All replys greatly appreciated thanks.

P.S These will clear KTS coils right? or will i need spacers up front.

That sounds like an about fair trade. I remember seeing a thread involving backspace recently, but i cant remember how much was needed.

Yeh? i searched for some info about p45s only thing i saw was +20 and up offset needed spacers. I'm not sure about what coils he had tho and I'm just trying to make sure, because the guys 2 hours away from me. It would suck if i drove that far and it wasnt the right fitment.

if you plan to do anything body wise (if you havent already) ie aero kit etc. keep the 17's
if you are runnin nude (no aero) go for the mesh
thats my 2cents on it

Read some of the discussion in this. it looks like with a 9" wide +12 you should be good, at worst you just need a 5mm spacer

I will go aero when i get the funds, but i want 17s+ so i can tuck the wheels more. I'm hating the gap between my wheels and fender it'll be much easier for me to go lower when i get 17's.

PJ, he currently has the 16's and is considering trading for the 17's. I think you misread the OP

Yo, eff Fair Trade! You are straight robbing that fool! Take the P45R's and run homie!

17x9+12 with 225/45 fronts and 235/45 rears.

235/40/17 tires are perfect, IMO. You won't need spacers at all. Do the swap & don't look back! You're definently getting the better end of the stick!

yeah really, dude probably wants to trade because the whole mesh thing is coming back in to style again.
still, do it...simmode speaks the truth.

^^^For real. When I first came to NICO... ppl were selling full sets of Enkei 92's for like under $300. They might be coming back into style or whatever, but being able to fit wider rubber will NEVER go out of style...

Yes, take those, I run MB battles 17x9 +30 frt and 9.5 + 15 rear. Great fitment, But i run a 15mm spacer in the front with 215s. You could run those with no spacer and run more tire. So good deal. I actually rencently switched over to 9.5 +15s in the frt with the same tires, (Just for cost effectiveness for now, but will run 235s in the future). Ya, do the trade.

In sig are 17x9 + 12 p45r's 235/40. They clear my Megans but if you plan on going low the front tires will rub the fenders and rear tires will clear.

Aww the guy changed his mind. Pretty weird seeing as his CL post said he wanted to trade for a less aggressive mesh rim. In 16in too :/.
