rim swap

i hope this post works, long time reader, first time poster. A while back i wrote off my brothers 87 prelude ( i know everyones gonna love to hear that ) but at the time it wasnt' wearing his rims. Anyway, i while ago I finally got the 240 I always wanted and now there is a set of rims in the garage and me with my stock 7-hole or whatever the hell they are in the drive way. Is a swap possible? thanks in advance.

driving a 240 is a privalege not a right, I've seen people pull terrorlst mod attacks on cars and its just not right

you've got the wheels and the car, why don't you try it and let us know if it will work.

BTW, more than likely you will need spacers (if the bolt patterns are the same).

Alright, so i did, and my wishfull thinking was sadly turned upside down when i realized my 4-pattern's bolts are spaced farther apart. Unfortunatley nothing spacers can fix. awww sheeeit. thanks anyways.

spacers won't fix it.

your bolt pattern is 4x114.3iirc, most 4 lug hondas are 4x114 (don't quote me on that one).

spacers are used to get the correct offset.

your offset is +40mmi believe hondas have a 45mm offset (again, don't quote me).

Hondas are 4x100240SXs are 4x114.3

no, but you can jack them of AE86 kids/toyota kids, they have the same lug pattern, mostly.
