I'm looking to replace my stock rims and get a pair of 19" rims for my Dark Slate AC and was wondering if anybody had suggestions on to what looks good on it. I know nothing about installation of rims with tires, etc. So, are there certain rims that aren't compatible with my tires? or do I have to buy a rim/tire set? Thanks for any help.

I saw these on a 370z at class one day and I liked the style, but I'm not sure how'd they look on an AC.

Edit: I'm pretty much dead set on Vossen VVSCV3's. Still not sure whether I want 19" or 20" though. Most likely 19"

Those are nismo lmz5 wheels by rays.

No you can't put 18" tires on 19" rims so you'll need new ones!!

And those rims are finished in hyper silver, not chrome btw

Welcome!

I'm not a chrome guy so I will have to step out of that zone... :inout:

What I think will look good might not be in your case...(Dark slate on black wheels with some red accenting (calipers) Check out a member named Hussain to get an idea of how that'll look)

Do you have a theme going? Or are you just looking to get chrome wheels and calling it quits? Those 370z wheels are pricey but I'm sure they'll fit. They're staggered though (front smaller than back) if you want that. Which means you can't rotate them, only run them all the way down. For me, black wheels FTW, graphite isn't bad either. I like the stealthy look :yesnod

If you get new wheels, most of the time you will have to get new tires depending on how wide and big you go. 225 is the size of tire that most members rock with their aftermarket wheels.

Also, check out the wheel fitment guide by AlexM, that'll give you a better idea :dblthumb:

I'm not set on chrome, I can go with the silver finished ones. I'm just having a hard time finding pictures of AC's with rims I like on them.

Have you seen Altima with G35 rims? They're nineteens and they look really nice. If you search for it you'll find lots of pictures.

Here's a question: What wheels do you have in mind? Brand? Lightweight? Staggered? Concave? Or are you just reaching around in the dark and hope you grab something you like?

Another question: You wouldn't happen to be D3santis right?

Bahahahaha! We can find that out rather quickly if need be.

@OP, Your stock wheels are 17" x 7", any variance to that size will require new tires.

Are they 18" x 7.5"?

Edit: Nevermind, if I get new wheels they will be 19" or 20" so it doesn't matter.

Yeah, I'm not sure what size I want. Right now I'm leaning towards 20's but still not sure if they're too big. I haven't seen a coupe with 19" CV3's. I still have a lot to learn on what fits my car though, lol.
