First off, im not a reg. here in wheels and suspenion forum so sorry if this has been asked tons of times but I read the stickies and it didnt really say anthing about these posts so:Ok right now im running some exel Ennio rims 17x7 (bought off wheelmax ) with spacers and 30mm 300zx brakes. 1991 240sx SE. Im experiencing some vibrations and brought it to a shop and they told me that my rims were out of round... soooo, time for some new rims. Nothing from wheelmax, I absolutely despise them after my last purchase. Ive been checking tire rack, but I cant seem to find anything I like with the right offset. All I want is a decent looking 5 spoke or split-5 spoke (like the ones I have now) in 17x7, with an offset that will clear coilovers and push the rims out towards the fender a little more. (+30 to +35ish? rims are not my fort'e) I did some searching, but couldnt really find anything. Id like to keep it under $170 per rim, and keep it lightweight if possible. Im open to any/all suggestions as well (such as "heres a bitchin set of split 6 spokes blah blah). Can sombody help me pweaaassee? Thanks.

5zigen FN10R-C's, if you haven't seen them by now on a lot of people's 240's, you haven't been paying attention. Right now, they are one of the only more affordable 17" wheels that actually have good offsets, *and* clear big brake kits. SPL is also a dealer for 5zigen.

The only thing about them is that everyone has em. If your'e interested in something else, check out Team Dynamics USA's website and look at the Pro Race 1 and 2, they are light-weight, and have excellent offsets BUT expect to wait a while if they don't have them in 4 lug, they can dual-drill for you as they do it for a lot of customers since they are a racing company the rims mounting surface is set up for multiple bolt patterns.

Thanks a lot. I like the pro-race 2, but it looks like I cant buy off that website, and I dont even know what the price is. I really like how you can fully customize them too, But now with all these options I dont really know wht offset would be better for 17x7, 27 or 35? What do you think? Thanks.~James

telling me random rims doesnt really help unless I know where I can get them, and see them. I just want to know a reputable place that people have experience with. Thanks for the input.

PapaSmurf:

Don Kane @ Team Dynamics (contact them by their email, and they can help you over the phone as well) He quoted me $130ish for 16x7 Pro Race 2's, for 17's i'm guessing $10 more maybe? As far as offsets +30 or +25 is the most conservative (flush but not sticking out low-rider style) and will give some room for Z brakes if you plan on going with them (if you don't already have them). The 17" rims are 17lbs a piece, which is about a pound less than my stock alloys, which isn't good enough for me (that's why i'm sticking w/ 16's) , but its fine for you probably.

Also look into Black Racing Pro N1's, they are made by 5zigen too, and are around the same price.
