Anyone here from Dallas, TX area know of a good rim repair shop? I have some wheel rashes on all 4 and one wheel has some discoloration with chips down to the black of the rim and it may need some professional attention. The one wheel, after cleaning, looks like it has break dust on it, compared to the other 3 wheels. I have a web site that will sale the same wheel new for $299, but I was looking to see if there was a cheaper option, if any. Thanks in advance.

Wheels of America is your best bet. If you ask around, you will get same answer. Wheels America.

I'm gonna disagree. I needed some wheels fixed and was very surprised to find out that any DiscountTire does this service as well and will give you better prices and service too.

Never heard of wheel repair service from Discount Tire. Do they do color match too? I know several Subaru guys fixed high end JDM wheels and Wheels America matched the color and texture perfectly. I wonder if Discount Tire has wheel repair division or just send wheels to someone else.

They send them out to another company. I had asked them about this before.

Wheels America and Wheel Technologies both do good work. I've worked for shops that have used one of these companies. I've seen some pretty amazing repairs that always look like nothing was ever done.

We went to Star Wheel & Tire over on Harry Hines off Dallas auto repair shops. We were both pleased with the work they did in repairing the rim considering how badly it was rashed on the face. They welded it, painted & powder coated the clear coat on.

As far as I know, many shops send out wheels to Wheels of America for repair. Just like chrome plating in DFW area. Most of them goes to Economy Plating in Mesquite.

I am looking for one,and Economy Plating in Mesquite is my first option.. but as I have researched from other forums most of their works were okay but lacks quality.. I want something worth for every $$$ that I'd pay.. My friend really needs a good bumper chrome plater.. Dallas auto repair shops has variety of shops, yet I need some feedback about them.. Has anyone here rendered Pulidos Plating services???

Keep looking and I bet you can find some quality rims. Maybe something that spins? Dealerships should be able to point you in the right direction.

Wheel of America has a mobile service. They came out to my neighbor's house and fixed a curb rash on 2013 Audi S4. I couldn't find the spot on the wheel they fixed. I was very impressed. It took an hour and they charged $125.
