RIM for winter

Hi guys,

i have a Rogue SL AWD 2008... I want to buy a set of rim for winter...but somebody told be that I'll have a problem with the tire air pressure sensor because it working with the original mags but not with rims...is it true?

You can safely run wheels without the TPMS sensors... many of our members do exactly that with their winter tires, myself included. The TPMS warning light will turn ON but that's it. The vehicle will still operate normally. If you find the light distracting, cover it with some tape.

In the spring when you put the OEM wheels back on, the TPMS light will automatically go OFF. No need reset anything.

Now go get your winter tires, don't worry about TPMS and drive safely!
