I came across these cheap wheels on ebay, and want to know if anyone has them on a spring/strut combo and how they fit.
They are 8.5 wide front, and 9.5 wide in back

Here's the link to the rims..

What car are you wanting to put these on? On S-chassis, they'll fit fine but they'll be really sunken. The fronts won't clear coilovers though and may rub your inner fender if you go any lower.

Oh and I hope you're 5 lug if you buy those wheels.

They're going onto my s13 coupe.
I'm only going to run lowering springs for now, until I save up enough for a good pair of coilovers. I've only got 4 lug, but they got em for 4 lug online too.
I think I'm just going to go with the xxr 962 rims anyways.. I just want something cheap that's wide.

962's... If you want wide 962's, you're gonna need spacers.

I have a recommendation: Get 17x9+20 006's or the new 17x10+20 526's. These are cheap wheels that are wide, fit pretty flush, clear coilovers & won't need spacers.

I would need spacers on 962's that are 17x9 and 17x7?
I'm only going to be using springs for a while...I like both those rims you suggested, but I'm tight on cash and don't want to dish out an extra 100+ for a different pair of cheap rims.

Well, you said you're wanting WIDE wheels. 17x7+42 is not wide or flush and will generally get you laughed at by other S-Chassis enthusiasts. IMO, the best way to pull off 962's is 17x9+35 with 15mm spacer up front and 18x9.5+35 with 20mm spacer in the back.

But personally, I'd just recommend buying a wide wheel that already has low offsets and won't need spacers. At $122, XXR's 17x9+20 006's are a fantastic budget wheel. 17x9 962's are $113. But if you want the wheels at actually look good and fit flush, you're gonna need to spend more money on spacers.

It's cheaper to just grab the 006's & I think you'll be happier in the long run. If you get the 17x7 962's, you'll spend more money in the long run when you figure out how lame they are and want to replace them...
