I have a question regarding rims.I have a black 91 240sx fastback and I'm planning to get the rs limited ricochet rims in anthracite, 17's but I'm not sure how wide I should go.Here is a link to the rims:http://www.victoriatire.com/wh...ze=17 I want to go 215 in the front and 235 in the rear. Will these rims work for that purpose? What does the 7.5 in the 17x7.5 mean (width)? Can someone please help me? thanks in advance! :D

7.5 is width. Other than that, I don't understand what questions you're asking??

According to the link you provided they appear to only come in 17x7 or 18x7.5

The 17x7 should allow for 215 to 235, I wouldn't stretch anything wider than that on it.

I don't recommend staggering the sizes.

Thx for the replies. Yea my friends and I figured it was the width so the limit on the 17x7 is 235.

"17x7 is 235."

uhm, that depends on the aspect ratio, you can run a 235-50-17, but not any 40 or 45 ratio tires safelyand properly, your "realistic" limit is a 225.-chet
