Rim chips !

heyi recently bought theses rims off my friend for dirt cheap there preety heavy but they look nice and i couldnt give up the deal.there motegi mr7s in gunmetal 17 inch , and 4 bolt universal . first of all will they fit my car i have a 89 240sx my i know my car is 4 bolt and non hicas. also there area few minor chips , and i used touch up paint on them today but its not as good of a job as i thought it would be but oh well. There are like these sqaures stuck on to the inside of the rims with like paper and glue , how can i take these off and get rid of all the glue and not hurt the paint?, they have different sizes and numbers on them.thxplatinum240sx

Uh, yeah. Those are the wheel weights...for balance. :) Yes, you could take them off but they will do that for you when you have them rebalanced; unless, of course, all of your wheels are within specification.

There are two main ways to balance a wheel - the outer weight (what most owner's have), and the inner weights (cosmetic reasons). Although I've been told that the inner, stick-on weights are not as accurate...I've never had any problems with them on any of my cars.
