ok guys so i started to get a bad vibration in my front end on the way home this morning, i thought maybe it was just a wheel being out of alignment or something of that nature, got home and started to check the rims and one of the spokes has broken right where it connects to the outer part of the rim, now i know this is not safe to drive on and needs to be replaced asap, my question is do you think it will be ok for a week or so not driving it to much? i really don't have the $ right now to get it fixed and or get a new set of rims so i am waiting for tax returns to come in so i can pick up a new set (that was the plan all along.)

do you think this can wait if i don't drive it much and am very easy on the car?

:tisk: i hate being broke

That rim is toast.. If you think you're broke now wait until you wreck that 240 once that rim decides to give.. You're lucky you noticed that so don't be ignorant. :nono: Fix it or ride your bike if you have to.. :rotflmao

ok one more question just because i can. i really know nothing about offset, i know anything from a 10-20 is good on s14s my question is if i am getting a 9.5 rear with a 20mm spacer what dose that leave me on offset if the rim is +25 already? would that not make it a +5 or am i just doing it all wrong?

if u get a 9.5 rim with a 25 offset, it will sit flush with the qpanel, but also depends on the size tire u get on there,, i wouldnt run a spacer on that either n u probably need to roll it also..

i run a 9.5 with a 20offset, and 275-35-18 tire n it sticks out about an 1/2 " out the qpanel, once i get my fender roll n some coils, it be all good though.

im a little scared to say this but what do yall think of the new xxr 527's....

They actually look decent IMO.
Do you have coilovers? if so, to run a 9" up front im pretty sure you would need a 20ish or lower offset to clear coils. not positive on that though, talk to wheelmaster Simmode haha

yeah im on coils, i know you would need a small one, i just dont know if 20 is overkill or not. or how that changes the offset
