Rigid vacuum line bolts

I removed the rigid vacuum line(s) from my 720.
It was the 3 lines bolted on the front of the engine (part of the vacuum line removal)
Yes, the timing advance still has a line.

The bolts holding the rigid line assembly were over 4" long.
Do they secure anything else important? (possibly part of the water pump?)

For the time being I have re installed them, just to be safe.
